Campaign

Human rights must be the top of the agenda this election.

The 2025 Federal Election is a defining moment for Canada. Climate justice, Indigenous rights, corporate accountability, affordable housing, racial justice, gender equality, refugee protection, and human rights in Canada and around the world are at stake. Your vote is your megaphone. Your ballot is your power. Let’s put human rights first and #VoteForRights.

The cost of living and housing are leaving Canadians in increasing levels of poverty and homelessness. Our global climate crisis is in desperate need of Canada’s leadership to prevent and mitigate climate change disasters. The rights of people that have been historically marginalized are at unprecedented risk, including the rights of refugees and migrants looking for safety, of Black Canadians still being refused equity and equality, and for members of 2SLGBTQQIA+ community being denied essential health supports and recognition. Indigenous People in Canada continue to face deplorable levels of discrimination, access to adequate healthcare, education, water and housing and interference with their right to self-determination.

Human rights are for everyone. That is why we are calling on party leaders to put human rights front and centre for all Canadians and enact policies that align with international human rights commitments. We ask them to lead Canada to be the example of human rights the world needs.
